A spectacular square vase of undulating misty mountain forms in colored clay by important ceramic artist Miyashita Zenji enclosed in the original signed wooden box. This thickly potted wheel thrown plate is everything one would hope for in Bizen, rich raw clay, weight, and the scrawling marks of Hidasuki straw burnt into the dark surface.
