By Appointment is best. You might get lucky just popping by, but a great deal of the month I am out visiting artists or scouring up new items, so days in the gallery are limited.
In accordance with the request of local authorities our gallery in Kyoto will be closed from April 1st until further notice.

Clay drapes like rusted steel forming this intriguing ichirin-sashi vase by Terada Minoro enclosed in the original signed wooden box. The piece is five inches diameter, the same height and in excellent condition.
Minoru was born into a potting family in Seto city in 1936, entering into the BizanToen Ceramics facility in 1958, where he worked and studied for 10 years before establishing his own kiln. He is held in the Stockholm National Museum, among others.
