An open coffer in Gosu Blue and Iron glaze by Kanjiro Kawai enclosed in an old kiri-wood box titled Kanjiro-Saku, Gosu Koro and signed by his wife Tsune. It is 11.6 cm (4-1/2 inches) square, 8.2 cm (3 inches) tall and is in fine condition. A streak of sharp white glaze has dripped into one corner before or during the firing.
