The second of three pieces by Kanzaki Shiho we are offering. This is enclosed in the original signed wooden box titled Iga Mizusashi dating circa 1990. Again, this artist has outdone himself. Known for radical kiln effects, this does not disappoint, with a plethora of textures and colors to impress both the eye and the sense of touch. It is 7-/2 inches (19 cm) diameter, 6-1/2 inches (16.5 cm) tall and in excellent condition.

Dollops of clay braced with rackish designs by legendary artist Suzuki Goro, seemingly poured out into the shape of a tea pot and mug, each enclosed in the original signed wooden box. Inside the lid of the teapot the artists has created a self portrait. The Tea Pot is 21 x 15 x 19 cm (8-1/2 x 6 x 7-1/2 inches), the cup 11 x 16 x 12 cm (4-1/2 x 6 x 5 inches) and both are in excellent condition. A highly unusual couple, perfect for morning tea.
